About Christina
I am a second-year university student at Durham, studying Combined Honours in Geography, Politics, International Relations and Economics. I'm friendly, thorough and focused and am deeply passionate about Politics, IR and Geopolitics. I have achieved top grades in my Politics studies (A* at A-level and >65% in all coursework/exams at university), and thus have a deep understanding of the subject which I am eager to share with students, as well as tips and tricks I've learnt along the years! My technique is centred around exam board specifications for Edexcel A-level Politics students (US GovPol strand). Students will progress from understanding key content after explanation/clarification if needed, to then demonstrating their knowledge through active recall or exam answers.
Lessons can range from 30 minutes to two hours, though typically will be around an hour.
I have informally mentored students/peers through my secondary and university years, alongside receiving top grades in my own studies (A* in A-level Politics, and proceeding to study Politics and IR at a top university in England).
These lessons are aimed at A-level students who are looking to supplement their learning alongside their lessons, acting as support for those looking to achieve top grades.
