About Parker
Driven by a deep passion for mathematics and problem solving, giving students confidence to face math is a cornerstone of who I am. After tutoring for over three years I have developed the maturity and adaptability to meet every student's needs, from algebra to calculus and everything in between. Furthermore, since studying mathematics at the University of Toronto, my understanding of fundamental math topics has increased greatly, improving both my understanding of concepts and giving me the ability to explain the "why" behind many concepts.

- First, I focus on the key concepts, making sure the student has an intuitive grasp on the subject. - Afterwards, I walk through example problems, and explain each step of the solving process. - Then, once the student feels confident enough, they will try a problem themselves, throughout this, I'll be by their side if they have any concerns or questions. - Repeat this cycle however many times needed. - NOTE: If this specific methodology does not fit the student's learning style we can alter it. This is just the overall best way I found is to teach/understand math.
