About Shane
Hi! My name is Shane, and I’m a 4th-year Financial Mathematics student with a genuine passion for Maths and helping others build confidence in the subject.
Alongside my studies, I’m also a Gaelic footballer. Being involved in sport has taught me the importance of discipline, consistency, hard work and setting goals — qualities that I bring into my teaching as well.
I understand that Maths can sometimes feel challenging or frustrating, especially when a topic just doesn’t seem to click. I want to make Maths more approachable, help students overcome areas they struggle with, and show them that improvement comes with the right support and practice.
My lessons are relaxed, supportive and tailored to each student. Whether you’re looking to improve your fundamentals, prepare for exams, or push towards a higher grade, I’ll work with you at your own pace and focus on what you need most.
