About Victor
I tutored dozens of elementary, middle school, high school, and college students professionally in the year between college and medical school and have helped the vast majority of my students improve by multiple letter grades or score competitively in standardized tests.

In order to get the most out of our time, I first ask my student open- and then closed-ended questions to get a sense of their current understanding of the subject. I will also try to get a read on their preferred learning styles (visual, auditory, kinesthetic, etc.) and cater my approach accordingly. I find that many students enjoy the figures and visual mnemonics that I draw. I ask students questions frequently. Some questions that I ask are designed to challenge them, but questions that are designed to increase their confidence and help them feel that they are learning are also important.
