I am a physics student currently studying for my masters in theoretical physics. I am currently achieving a 2.1 and have good knowledge and understanding of maths and physics. I have had two students in the past who were both taking a first year undergraduate maths exam.

My teaching method is focused on ensuring the student will pass the exam set for them. This involves giving the student a good understanding of the structure of answers from past papers so that they can apply this generally to questions which will come up in the exam. I also put emphasis on the structure of the exam paper and getting marks efficiently within the time allotted for the exam.
I will start with whatever topic the student finds most difficult, or if preferred cover topics as they are learning them in class. Closer to exam time I will do revision classes to target specific questions in the exam which the student may be struggling with or want more practise with.
