About Huriyah

Hello! My name is Huriyah Baqer I’m a medical student from Ireland with a strong academic background, having achieved 625 points in the Leaving Cert, and I bring 3 years’ experience tutoring Junior Cycle and Leaving Cert students.

Alongside teaching, I am actively involved in national and international research projects, where I work on data analysis, systematic reviews, and scientific writing — experience that has strengthened my ability to explain complex concepts clearly and logically. I enjoy reading and coding in my spare time, and I bring the same curiosity and problem-solving mindset into my teaching.

About the lesson

I am a medical student who achieved 625 points in the Leaving Certificate Exams, with a strong academic background in maths, chemistry, biology, and French, and 3 years’ experience tutoring Junior Cycle and Leaving Cert students. I work with students of all ability levels, helping them improve understanding, performance, and confidence.

My tutoring style is tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on building strong fundamentals, clear understanding, and exam confidence through step-by-step explanations, worked examples, and targeted practice. Lessons are 1 hour long and include concept explanation, guided questions, and feedback, with optional homework for reinforcement.
