About Jodi
I am about to enter my senior year of college as a genetics major, where I have tutored in different science courses for about a year. I have been a part of many peer-led learning experiences, so I have been on both sides of tutoring and really feel that I know how much relief a person can feel when understanding a concept. I have also worked with elementary and middle school-aged students on science, math, and English concepts while babysitting. I love breaking topics down into smaller pieces to make sure all of the content is understood easily.

I like to give visual examples, such as drawing out pathways and processes. I try to give the student the chance to set up the session and focus on what they feel they need the most help with. A typical session would start with discussing a few things the student thinks they need the most help with, then splitting those into smaller concepts to work back up to the big picture. I am used to tutoring college-level students as well as elementary to middle school students.
