About Salma
I have my degree in English and writing. I’ve been a tutor for about 15 years. I really love my work and am passionate about it. I believe each student has their own unique way of learning and it’s important to me to teach how they best learn. If a student needs supplemental instruction, I develop a curriculum based on their needs. I like communicating with students' teachers so that we may work together to provide the best experience for my students. I use I-Ready scores as a guide and parent input is also really important. If a student is behind in a subject, they feel it and I like helping to raise their confidence and boost their self-esteem. I think that is just as important as the content.

I’m very passionate about education and helping students understand the material and catch up to where they should be. I provide supplemental instruction as well as homework help. I have been a tutor for 15 years and have my degree in English and writing. I develop a curriculum based on a student’s needs. My lessons are targeted to help the student in areas that they are finding challenging as well as to boost their confidence.

Salma is a great teacher as she takes the time to get to know the kids and their particular needs. She is also in no rushed to get to the next thing which is great because it ensure the student understands the lesson. She tailors her lessons to the particular kids interests which make the process a lot easier to handle as a Parent. Both my kids have worked with Salma and has shown great progress in their reading and writing comprehension.
