About Nawid
Hi! I’m Nawid, a motivated high school student with a strong interest in math. I’m currently studying in an accelerated program, meaning I study math and other subjects above my usual year level.
I enjoy helping others understand math and find ways to make difficult topics feel much easier. I’m happy to tutor primary school students as well as students in early high school, whether they need help with homework, preparing for a test, or simply building their confidence.
I’m patient, approachable and always happy to explain something in a different way if a student doesn’t understand it the first time.

My approach to tutoring is friendly, patient and tailored to each student. I focus on making maths simple and easy to understand rather than just giving students the answers. I explain concepts step-by-step, use examples, and encourage students to work through problems themselves so they can build confidence and become more independent.
As an accelerated maths student who studies maths above my year level, I’m comfortable helping students with a range of topics, from basic primary-school maths through to early high-school maths. I also understand that everyone learns differently, so I’m happy to adjust my explanations and pace to suit each student.
