About Vinayak
I currently work as a strategic sales & marketing consultant for fortune 500 retailers & technology companies. I'm interested in going back to school for a Masters in Technology.
I've kept an excellent track record and rapport with students, expressing a can-be-done attitude toward any challenge. I've helped teens and adolescents prep for their SHSATs, ELA, SATs, ACTs, and TACHS exams, and helped them write essays and get into schools like Xavier, and Brooklyn Tech, Columbia, and Harvard. I've also worked with adult learners helping graduate students get a better understanding of cryptography and python. I've also had the opportunity to teach 8 year olds the game of Go!

My strategy is very simple: first, evaluate the unique challenges students are facing in their education. Second, identify what problems and questions they find most difficult and explore specifically why these questions are difficult. Third, customizes solutions to help them overcome those setbacks.
I have a knack for breaking down traditional hard-to-grasp concepts into more consumable real-world analogies. I believe it’s not enough just to know the right answer and emphasizes understanding the logic the question is designed to challenge. In this way, my students are prepared for all sorts of curveballs on their exams as well as in life.

Hi,
I've been tutoring for over 3 years in CS, Mathematics, and writing composition. I also tutor in spanish thought that isn't something I use daily in my profession (I just enjoy the language and culture).
Unlike GA or other classes you may take, my focus is to help you establish a critical understanding for programming and coding by focusing on core principles you'll find across more popular languages (Python, Java, PHP, HTML, CSS). A few lessons with me and you'll be able to tackle any language!
The rate set is an introductory rate instead of a free lesson. The program would not let me turn off the free lesson option; I hope this doesn't confuse anyone.
My rates are traditionally $150/hour though that price is negotiable if we are engaging in a long-term relationship.
