About Robert
Hi! I'm Robert, a Yonsei student with a strong academic background in mathematics and science. I graduated from an international school in Shanghai and earned a score of 5 on all 10 AP exams I took, including AP Physics 1, AP Physics C: Mechanics, AP Physics C: Electricity & Magnetism, AP Calculus BC, AP Chemistry, and AP Statistics. I also scored 1560 on the SAT (790 Math).
In addition to my academic achievements, I have experience working as an AP and SAT teaching assistant, helping students understand challenging concepts and improve their exam performance. I enjoy making difficult topics easy to understand and creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.

My lessons are designed to help students truly understand physics rather than simply memorize formulas. I focus on building strong conceptual foundations, then reinforce them through step-by-step problem solving and AP-style practice questions. During each lesson, I explain difficult concepts clearly, work through examples together, and help students develop efficient test-taking strategies.
As a Yonsei student who earned a score of 5 on all 10 AP exams, including AP Physics 1, I understand what it takes to succeed at the highest level. I also have experience tutoring AP and SAT students, so I know the common mistakes students make and how to help them improve quickly.
My lessons are ideal for current AP Physics 1 students, students preparing for the AP exam, or anyone who wants to strengthen their understanding of mechanics and fundamental physics concepts. Whether your goal is earning a 5, improving your class grade, or gaining confidence in physics, I tailor each lesson to your individual needs and learning pace.

Details
My hourly rate includes personalized lesson planning, AP-style practice questions, and detailed feedback after each session. I also provide study strategies and homework recommendations at no additional cost.
Students who study with me for **three months or longer** will receive a special **AP Exam Day Support** service in May (will take additional fee). This includes last-minute review guidance, a personalized checklist, exam-day strategies, and the opportunity to ask final questions before the AP Physics 1 exam. My goal is to make sure you feel fully prepared and confident on test day.
