About Waiwai
I am a second year student at Durham University studying Geography. After achieving A* in GCSE Mathematics, A in A-Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics, I decided to take my interest in Maths further by studying Accounting and Finance as a module in my first year of university. I was able to achieve First Class in that module (95%). Thereby, demonstrating my academic capability in Mathematics.

I am a big believer in turning weaknesses into strengths. Throughout my years of experience in tutoring Mathematics during Sixth Form for GCSE/A-Level students. The approach that I have always taken was targeting students’ weaknesses in Mathematics. Students would inform me on the topics that they find difficult in and I will come up with worksheets in these topics to assist them. This strategy have led my students to achieve at least a grade above their predicted grades. Additionally, I also ask my students to email/message me the questions they find difficult in and I would go through the solution with them.
