About William

I am a student with a verified ACT score in the top 1% nationwide, with an understanding of the test and how to effectively increase your score. I offer lessons regarding the math section of the ACT at affordable rates as well as a free first lesson for you to decide whether you want to continue.

What I Offer:

- Focused Math ACT Prep: Targeted lessons designed for the specific formatting and patterns of the exam.

- Meaningful Score Increases: I focus on the exact strategies needed to raise your score quickly, rather than teaching generalized math skills you can learn anywhere.

- All Score Levels Welcome: Any score range is accepted, with adaptable lessons that can accommodate those with low or high scores.

- First Lesson Free: Let's spend the first hour reviewing your current baseline, finding your pacing bottlenecks, and setting a target score with zero risk.

About the lesson

The Math ACT has many factors that can be effectively used to increase the score of the taker. Lessons will primarily feature guided learning focusing on past ACT exams in order to prepare for the full exam with questions of accurate difficulty.

The student will view and attempt the questions as I guide them on how to complete the questions in a faster or more accurate manner as the Math ACT is largely a test of consistency rather than specialized knowledge.

What Lessons will feature:

- Past official exams that will be attempted and guided along the way

- Skills to decrease time needed on certain questions

- How to maximize the amount of points that can be obtained at any level of knowledge

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by the students of William.

Perfect! Although a high school student, his approach is matured. He focused on strength and weakness of a student and try to elevate the weakness part so that student can be confident about test. he is still tutoring my daughter for ACT and I wish him all the best.

William's response
The student was attentive and grew relatively quickly. She put in effort and showed increased scores in the official ACT math practice test, getting the majority of questions correct and improving on pacing.

William is knowledgeable about math, having had experience tutoring and working with students regarding the ACT. Having taken the test recently, he is unlikely to fail as a tutor, with previous students being satisfied with his teaching. In addition, the price point is meaningfully lower than the average for his field, as he hopes to gain more experience first.
