About Harsha
Hi, I'm Harsha Pendyala and I'm a third-year medical student at Brighton and Sussex Medical School with lots of teaching experience, having tutored children of many different ages in a variety of subjects. Teaching has always been something I’ve been incredibly passionate about and it gives me a sense of fulfilment like no other discipline does. Helping students truly understand challenging concepts and watching their confidence grow is deeply rewarding and is what drives me to keep teaching.

I prioritise building a sound understanding of the subject content and through this improve their grades. I do this by breaking down crucial concepts and teaching them at their most basic level, ensuring that your child develops an intuitive understanding of what they are learning. Alongside this, I teach ideal phrases they can use in their answers that will guarantee them marks in the exam questions they answer. It's also very important to me that I connect with students as friends, to help alleviate any mental stresses they have on their mind, keeping them happy and healthy while learning. Using the experience I gained from tutoring for independent tutoring companies for 3+ years, I now tutor A-level and GCSE students independently, which I have been quite successful at as, in the last 2 years, all my students have moved up at least 2 grades in the first few months. I have also Interviewed and coached multiple students applying to medicine for their university interviews and admission tests who have ended up being successful and passing this stage with flying colours!

Harsha is an excellent chemistry tutor who has a deep understanding of the subject. He’s always patient and takes the time to break down complex topics into simpler parts, making them much easier to understand. He also taught me how to approach and answer exam questions in a way that maximises marks , something that helped me a lot in the beginning. Thanks to our lessons together, I now feel much more confident in A-level Chemistry.
