About Ee Cheng
Hi, I’m Ee Cheng, a passionate and patient tutor with a strong academic background in Mathematics — I scored an A for H2 Mathematics at A-Levels, after consistently performing well throughout secondary school and junior college. Coming from a neighborhood school, I truly understand the challenges faced by students who may feel left behind or struggle with self-doubt. Having once been in their shoes, I’ve developed effective learning strategies that help students build confidence, understand core concepts, and improve their grades step by step. My goal is not just to teach — but to guide students toward academic independence, one lesson at a time.

I also emphasize: • Conceptual understanding before memorization • Step-by-step scaffolding, especially for weaker students • Active recall and exam-smart techniques, such as identifying key words in problem sums or understanding how marks are awarded • Error analysis, where students learn not just the right method, but why they made a mistake — this builds long-term improvement I adjust my teaching pace based on the student’s ability and make sure every lesson ends with clear takeaways and mini success wins to boost confidence.
