About Marc
I love teaching - it’s so rewarding to help people understand a new topic. I try my best to see the topic through my students’ eyes, and to teach at a level that makes sense. I tend to teach fairly slowly, building one concept on top of another, but I’m also very comfortable tutoring fast learners who want to move quickly through content.
I have several years experience tutoring classes in economics and economic statistics at university - so plenty of maths - and I spend time at work teaching my coworkers new techniques and technologies.

I try my best to tailor my lessons to the student. I can comfortably guide you through most mathematics topics up to a second year university level inclusive. Beyond that, I can help with certain specific topics (e.g. statistics and data analysis). I try my best to see the content through my students’ eyes, and adapt my teaching accordingly. I’m good at breaking complex topics down into small, simple chunks.
I developed my teaching skills through several years of tutoring classes when I was at university. At my day job as an analyst, I also enjoy teaching my colleagues new techniques.
