About Yungyu
Hello! My name is Yungyu Lee, but you can call me Lee. I’m a passionate second-year Applied Mathematics student based in New Zealand. As a second-generation immigrant, I’ve developed a strong work ethic and dedication to my studies, which I bring to my tutoring sessions. In my spare time, I enjoy playing electric guitar and reading—activities that fuel my creativity and critical thinking. My goal as a tutor is to inspire confidence in my students, helping them navigate challenging math concepts with ease. You can trust in my professionalism and commitment to helping you succeed.
Although I am new to tutoring, my academic background in Applied Mathematics equips me with a thorough understanding of the subject. I have successfully completed advanced courses in mathematics, and I regularly help peers with difficult topics, which has strengthened my ability to explain concepts clearly and effectively.
My lessons are designed for high school students and first-year university students who are looking to strengthen their understanding of mathematics. Whether you need help with algebra, calculus, or preparing for exams, my goal is to help you achieve success in your math studies.
