My name is Justin, and I am a former peer tutor at Florida Polytechnic University specializing in math, physics, and chemistry. I am passionate about helping students understand challenging concepts in a clear and supportive way. I focus on making difficult concepts simple and easy to understand. I explain topics step-by-step, use real examples, and encourage students to ask questions throughout the session. I adapt my teaching style based on each student’s learning pace and help them build confidence through guided practice and problem-solving.
I review previous material and identify problem areas. I explain the main concept in a simple way. I work through example problems together. I let the student solve problems independently with guidance. I summarize key points and provide tips for studying and exams.
As a peer tutor at Florida Polytechnic University, I understand the challenges students face because I have taken similar courses myself. I create a supportive and patient learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, and I focus on helping them truly understand the material instead of just memorizing formulas.
