I am a Cambridge university graduate who has been tutoring in GCSE and A-level English since 2003. I gained qualified teacher status in 2016 and currently work in a local grammar school.

I plan my lessons according to the needs of the individual/group, taking into account their learning needs/targets. My approach is to engage students in the learning; impart new knowledge and then provide the opportunity to practise and discuss learning with constructive feedback. Exam technique is honed using past papers and timed chunking of questions.
