About Michael
Actually, I never intended to become a tutor despite 13 years of experience in the field. My MEng Engineering degree from Stanford University gave me a rigorous framework for viewing structural challenges. I have taught 202 students ranging from hobbyists to A-level design students, beginners, and career switchers. I find that connecting math to physical intuition helps students grasp architecture much faster.
My work focuses on concept development, floor planning, design theory, portfolio development, building materials, sustainable design, design critique, and SketchUp. I enjoy the intellectual rigor of these sessions. What specific design goal are you currently trying to achieve?
