About Elizabeth
I am a junior at the University of Arizona. I have a background in academic writing (for personal use) and speech. I have aided fellow classmates with their papers and writing skills at both the high school and post-secondary level.

I tailor all my teaching to each individual by sitting with them and reading through their paper or discussing what obstacles they face in beginning to write. I help them identify areas that they struggle with and break down how they can improve their writing by building skills that give them actionable methods. If I were to simply tell you how to fix one sentence, but not explain how to avoid the issue or fix it on similar sentences, I'm not doing my job. It's all about explaining the "why" and "how" so you become a better, more confident writer with your own set of tools. I also take time to discuss their writing process. It's essential to have a strong structural approach to writing and editing, however, this is where many people are lacking.
