About Marina

I have a Master's in art history from Case Western Reserve University and know six languages. I worked in art museums and taught at colleges. I am very good at explaining theoretical concepts and making complex things accessible to all.

About the lesson

Art history is fun, and I will make our lessons fun! I am a medievalist focusing on the Later Middle Ages (which are the most fun), but I can teach anything from prehistoric to contemporary art. My lessons are object-focused (we will look at objects a lot), emphasizing artworks' context, function, and meanings.

Marina is the reason I passed my Art class in college!! She is the best, she is very responsive, has a quick turn around with feedback, and cares about your understanding of the material. She will break it down for you and will make any assignment seem easy to accomplish! She's an expert and I can not recommend her enough! Thank you Marina
