About Jose
Hello, My name is Jose Bazo, a contemporary realist Peruvian painter born in 1991, currently residing and working in London. For me, painting is the language in which I can express all the things that I can’t put into words. I love painting; it is my safe space and a beautiful reminder of who I truly am. As an academy trainee, I feel blessed to be a treasurer of a key that has been passed down through generations—the techniques and language of painting! I enjoy and cherish the fact that I can keep passing the torch for more artists or art enthusiasts to learn and understand this magic, and I hope that in the process, they can enjoy it and find something good for themselves, as it did for me.

Jose was an amazing tutor. He is very knowledgeable, clear and patient. I’ve learned a lot in a short time, and will definitely continue taking his lessons. His personal artwork is also wonderful. Feel very lucky to be able to learn from a professional painter! :)
