About Laasya

I'm currently undertaking a planned gap year and am applying to medical school for the first time. As Head Girl and Maths Mentor in school, I have had previous experience with teaching GCSE pupils and believed it was an extremely enjoyable activity. So, to pursue this further I want to provide interactive and tailored lessons geared specifically to you. I have flexible working hours and am ready to answer any questions outside the lesson space.

About the lesson

As an aspiring medical student, I bring a clear, structured, and student-focused approach to GCSE Maths, Further Maths, and Physics. I tailor lessons to each student’s pace and learning style, ensuring strong understanding before moving on. My sessions are interactive and exam-oriented, with a focus on building confidence, breaking down complex topics, and practising real exam questions. I also provide support between lessons when needed and track progress towards personalised goals. I have successfully tutored GCSE students in school with subjects such as Maths, Further Maths and Physics and I really enjoyed the experience and want to continue tutoring. I look forward to hopefully getting the opportunity to provide any help that I can. Thank you!

My son took lessons from Laasya and I highly recommend her for her amazing teaching skills and excellent attitude to make it an interesting learning experience. She understood my son's strengths and areas that needed improvement and structured her teaching methodically to suit his needs. He has achieved an A* in GCSE maths thanks to her guidance and coaching.
