Hi, I’m Omar.
I’m a recent HSC graduate who achieved Band 6 results in Chemistry and Mathematics Extension 1 (E4), and I tutor students aiming for strong, consistent HSC performance.
My teaching is highly structured and results-driven. I focus on building a precise understanding of key concepts, then applying them efficiently to HSC-style questions. Lessons emphasise logical problem-solving, clear mathematical and scientific communication, and the habits examiners reward. Common misconceptions are addressed early, and students are trained to avoid the errors that cost marks under pressure.
Lessons typically run for 60 minutes and follow a clear structure: targeted concept review, guided worked examples, and independent practice with feedback. Sessions are adapted to each student’s level, school pace, and assessment schedule, whether the goal is consolidation, acceleration, or exam preparation.
I teach Year 11 and 12 students studying HSC Mathematics Extension 1 and Chemistry. Having completed the HSC recently with top results, I offer current syllabus knowledge, practical exam insight, and a focused guidance towards individual improvement.
