About Richard
Teaching exists because standard tutorials rarely explain why specific digital tools behave in frustrating ways. Most people assume that heavy manual input is the only path to producing accurate CAD drawings.
I actually prefer teaching the shortcuts that eliminate redundant tasks. With a B.Tech from the University of Galway, I translate academic theory into practical workflows for my students.
We cover importing and exporting DWG and PDF formats as well as precise drawing with coordinates. I also demonstrate arrays and parametric constraints plus xrefs and external references. Mastering templates and drawing standards will eventually define your personal success as a designer.
