About Carly

Carly Sonenclar is a professional vocalist and vocal coach with over 10 years of experience. Carly got her start in singing and performing at the age of 7 with her Broadway debut in Les Miserables and went on to star in other Broadway productions and tours. At 13, she became the youngest runner-up on The X Factor USA and has been pursuing a career in music and teaching ever since.

About the lesson

Carly believes that singing is a full-body experience and loves educating her students on the ways the bodies they were born with can be their best tool to success as a singer. Besides vocal technique, breath and body work, and expanding vocal knowledge, Carly's priority is to help her students build self-confidence and have fun with their natural gift. Seeing her students smile when they get lost in the music and gain comfort in themselves and their instrument is the reason she loves what she does! Lessons for all ages and experience levels. Songwriting can be added into lesson plan depending on student interest.

Thanks to Carly’s voice lessons, Estella has gained confidence and poise. She was able to participate in a talent show and sang her little heart out. We are very grateful for the voice lessons and unconditional support.

I looked for singing lessons for a long time and Carly is by far the best and most engaged teacher I’ve ever had. My range, technique, and confidence to sing in front of people have all improved so much since working with her.
