About Daria

In this beginner-friendly ASL class, students will learn essential signs, fingerspelling, and basic phrases while also gaining insight into Deaf culture. Taught by a Deaf instructor, this class offers an authentic and well as an engaging introduction to American Sign Language.

About the lesson

I hold a minor in ASL from Flagler College, and as a Deaf individual, I bring an authentic and unique perspective to the language and community I’m teaching about. My teaching philosophy centers on creating an inclusive and supportive environment where students feel confident and excited to learn.
