About Evgeniya
I am currently a UC Berkeley student with plans to pursue a minor in French, as well as participate in a semester abroad in Paris, France. I recently returned from Paris a couple of weeks ago and would love to incorporate my knowledge of the city into my French classes. Prior to college, I spent roughly 7 years taking French courses in middle and high school, while also working as a French peer tutor throughout my senior year of high school to assist French students in grades below me with grammar, pronunciation, and comprehension skills.

I am passionate about the French language and would love to share my knowledge with others! I employ a variety of teaching methods meant to fully immerse students in French, enabling them to become more comfortable speaking the language. I use techniques such as designating time for conversation in French, playing videos, and reading short stories to assist with comprehension, grammar drills, as well as vocab word games. My lessons are targeted toward elementary, middle, and high school French students in their first few years of French classes. I genuinely love French and know that my expertise as a tutor will help students develop a similar appreciation for both the French language and culture!
