About Pirooz
I am a second year UC Berkeley student studying molecular and cellular biology who has been tutoring math and sciences for the past two years. I have also recently started to teach the SAT as well because of my expertise in the area (self-taught to earn 1530 on the New SAT).

As I have learned from experience, I believe the teaching methodology that is most effective for students is through lots of examples. The way I teach different concepts is by allowing the student to try the example at first without any help and after they have attempted it, we can go through the problem step by step to tackle the issue so that it could not happen again.
