About Lior

Hi! I'm Lior, a Brooklyn-based musician.
I have 15+ years of experience playing the flute, studying music theory, and harmonic concepts.
I attended Berklee College of Music on a full scholarship and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2025 with a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Writing & Production and a concentration in Creative Entrepreneurship.
I've spent my career performing, composing, and arranging, putting my theoretical and practical knowledge to use in the process.
Teaching is a great passion of mine, and I hope to instill the same passion in my students!

About the lesson

I customize lesson plans based on the skill level, pace and goals of each student. Whether a beginner, intermediate or advanced musician, whether you're looking for consistent instruction or just to explore the joy of music, we will come up with the right journey for you!
I'm open to teaching children (ages 8+), teens and adults. I'm a Jazz flutist with advanced sight reading skills, proficient in classical and contemporary harmonic concepts.
I believe that a strong foundation of classical music theory and basic reading is essential for developing a student's listening and reading skills and advancing their theoretical knowledge.
