About Bethany

I studied English Language and Literature at A level, and I’m really excited to be starting my degree in English Literature and Creative Writing at the University of Exeter in 2026. I’ve always loved exploring stories and ideas, both on the page and on the stage, and I’m especially passionate about musical theatre and drama. Teaching is something I truly enjoy, because one day I hope to become a teacher myself. Tutoring gives me the chance to share my love for English, help others grow in confidence, and show that learning can be both fun and rewarding.

About the lesson

Learning English doesn’t have to feel tricky or boring - I make it fun, simple, and all about you. In our lessons, we’ll explore stories, poems, and ideas in a way that makes sense, helping you feel more confident with reading, writing, and expressing your thoughts. Everyone learns differently, so I’ll find the style that works best for you, whether that’s step-by-step support with essays, creative ways to understand texts, or just building up your confidence. My goal is to help you enjoy English as much as possible while making steady progress along the way.
