About Ruan
I am a Bible College Graduate and after 3 years of studies started working at a Christian Remedial school. I have been working at this school as a teacher for the last 2 years and found my passion in helping kids. The kids I work with at school range from having mental disabilities to emotional blockages towards learning. I also do after school tutoring for kids from main stream (normal) schools.

I believe in teaching through built relationships. After building a relationship with a child you realize whether talking loud, bubbly and being charismatic will work or instead whether you should be more gentle and soft spoken toward the child. I firmly believe that learning should be an interest and not a compulsory punishment, this means that I will always try to get the childrens involved as much as possible.
