About Yansen
I am a recent Latino high school graduate from BCSM. Through my high school career I’ve TA’d Spanish 2 and helped plenty of my friends understand complex college-level STEM problems ranging from AP Chemistry, Honors Physics, AP Precalc, and AP Calculus. On a more personal note: My hobbies range from self-studying A-level mathematics, reading philosophy, and playing chess. I was also born in the Dominican Republic, this means that apart from being a NY certified Spanish translator, I can connect with clients on a cultural level.

I have transformed from being the “dumb” kid in the back of class to self-studying A-level mathematics. In other words, I know what it’s like to academically struggle. Moreover, I tutor my 10-year-old brother with his math homework often. I have even taught him basic algebra, meaning that I know how to simplify abstract topics.
