About Sihan
I am a friendly and patient bilingual tutor who can teach both English and Mandarin Chinese. As someone who understands the challenges of learning a second language, I focus on making my lessons clear, supportive, and easy to follow. I can explain difficult ideas in both English and Chinese, which helps students understand faster and feel more confident.
I can support students with everyday conversation, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, homework help, and IELTS preparation. My teaching is structured around a clear table of contents, so each lesson has a purpose and students can see their progress step by step.
I would like to teach beginners, school students, university students, adults, and anyone who wants to improve their English or Chinese for study, travel, work, exams, or daily communication. My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel respected, encouraged, and confident to practice.

I teach English and Chinese in a clear, supportive, and structured way. My lessons follow a specific teaching table of contents, so students can learn step by step instead of feeling confused or overwhelmed. I usually begin by checking the student’s current level, goals, and weaknesses, then I create lessons around speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation differently.
Because I can use both English and Chinese, I am able to translate difficult ideas and use both languages to support each other. This helps students understand meaning more deeply, especially beginners or students who feel nervous learning a new language. For IELTS students, I can help with speaking practice, writing structure, reading strategies, listening skills, and useful vocabulary.
A typical lesson can be around 1 hour, but this can be adjusted depending on the student’s needs. My lessons are suitable for beginners, school students, adults, and anyone who wants to improve their English, Chinese, or IELTS confidence.
