About Minkyu
Hi! I’m Minkyu — born in South Korea, raised overseas, and lucky enough to have lived in both worlds. After completing my military service in Korea, I gained a deep appreciation for the country’s traditions, discipline, and humor. At the same time, years spent abroad gave me a global perspective and an easy, natural way of connecting with people from different cultures. Professionally, I’ve worked for over a decade at top global companies — ON Semiconductor, Skyworks Solutions, and Renesas Electronics — all recognized by Forbes and Fortune for their innovation and excellence. Working with people from around the world has taught me how communication truly bridges culture — and that’s exactly the spirit I bring to my Korean lessons. I still remember helping one of my colleagues learn just enough Korean to impress his team during a business trip to Seoul — the joy and confidence on his face said it all. That moment made me realize how learning a language can open real human doors. My goal is to make Korean approachable, professional, and fun.
