About Pranay
My name is Pranay. I am a first-year student majoring in Biology at the University of Cincinnati. I am passionate about helping students succeed in math. My teaching method focuses on clarity and understanding, breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps. I create engaging, interactive lessons that allow students to build both their skills and confidence. Each lesson will meet the needs of students from Grade 2 to Algebra 1, ensuring a personalized approach. I pride myself on being patient, approachable, and committed to making learning enjoyable and effective. My availability for tutoring is Monday evening: 3:30 pm-5:30 pm, Tuesday evening: 4 pm-6 pm, Saturday evening: 4 pm-7 pm, and Sunday evening: 4 pm-7 pm.

As a tutor, I want to focus on creating a supportive and engaging environment where I can provide students with the tools to make them feel confident in math concepts. While I teach math, I will use real-world examples and I will teach math in a fun way. The typical lessons I start with are first teaching students the basics and then starting with a review of key concepts through guided practice and problem-solving. I teach students from Grade 2 to Algebra 1. First, I would like to get to know the students. I need to get to know the student I am teaching to understand their strengths, weaknesses, challenges, and goals, which will allow me to offer them personalized lessons. My goal is to not only help students understand math concepts but to build their confidence, critical thinking skills, and problem-solving skills beyond mathematics.
