I am a recent Neuroscience graduate from UC Santa Cruz who now works as a researcher at the Salk Institute. I have tutored both high school age students and college age students, and have worked in many elementary school classrooms.

My teaching approach is deep understanding rather than route memorization. I want to go very deep in a subject with the student instead of just having them regurgitate information back. I am patient and focused on getting students excited about science!
