About Kelsey
"Walking through the complexities of mitosis and meiosis reveals the core logic of biological systems. My 4.0 years of experience helping students stems from a BSc Biochemistry degree from Imperial College London. I focus on genetics and inheritance, homeostasis, molecular biology, plant biology, photosynthesis and respiration, the scientific method, ecology, and protein synthesis.
Exam technique is my priority. I have taught many students over 4 years. Most see their grades move within 1 term. Achieving clarity is the goal."

"Starting with the most difficult concept actually creates the fastest progress for students. Lessons utilise my 4.0 years of experience to break down biology into manageable segments that align with current exam board requirements.
We build from the fundamental scientific method towards complex topics like homeostasis and molecular biology to ensure internal coherence. I prioritise the intuition behind photosynthesis and respiration so that memorisation is never the primary strategy.
Students often find that once the underlying mechanism is clear, the answers appear naturally on the paper. My approach removes the stress of rote learning. The process remains straightforward and effective throughout the academic year. Results follow when the core concepts become intuitive."
