About Colm
I have spent 4 years studying Biomedical sciences at the University of Waterloo to earn my bachelor of science. My early undergraduate research was focused on neuroscience at the Canadian Center of Behavioural Neuroscience, so I have added strength in neurophysiology. My undergraduate studies have been focused on microbiology, cell biology, anatomy and physiology while also spending time on chemistry, and biochemistry. I have found great success in the field of biology, and I'm excited to help you can do the same!

With my teaching I aim to help you work through difficult and complicated topics slowly and simply so that we can find solve the issues in your understanding. While going over concepts I believe its important to understand the basic assumptions that lead to the conclusions, which then allow you to apply these concepts to different situations so you can effectively answer any questions your biology teacher might think up during a test. A full understanding is important for true academic success, so I do my best to promote that in my teaching.
