About Owen
My passion for biology was sparked by curiosity about the complexity and diversity of life. I pursued a B.Sc in Molecular Biology and an M.Sc in Environmental Biology, gaining both laboratory expertise and theoretical insight. Over 9 years, I have mentored students through foundational and advanced biology concepts, fostering analytical thinking, problem-solving, and a passion for learning.
I focus on structured guidance, clarity, and hands-on engagement. Lessons integrate interactive experiments, real-world examples, and data analysis to ensure students internalize concepts and develop critical scientific reasoning skills.
Beyond teaching, I follow advancements in molecular biology, ecology, and biotechnology, integrating current research into lessons. Witnessing students grow in understanding, confidence, and curiosity is deeply fulfilling. My goal is to cultivate learners capable of exploring biology independently, thoughtfully, and with genuine enthusiasm for discovery.
