About Uyen
I am a recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and a minor in Chemistry. My academic journey has provided me with a strong foundation in biology, enabling me to explain complex concepts and guide students through various topics. In addition to my academic background, I have hands-on experience working as a medical assistant. I was recently promoted to a managerial position, where I honed my organizational and communication skills, ensuring that I can effectively explain complex ideas and adapt to the individual needs of each student. With my strong educational background and professional experience, I am committed to providing students with the support they need to succeed academically while also helping them develop a genuine interest and confidence in the biological sciences!

I focus on making complex concepts accessible and engaging for students from middle school to college. My approach involves breaking down topics into manageable sections, using visual aids, real-world examples, and interactive exercises to make learning both clear and interesting. I ensure each lesson is tailored to the student’s needs, helping them build a strong foundation and retain key concepts.
A typical lesson begins with a review, followed by the introduction of new material using diagrams, videos, and practical examples. I encourage active participation and problem-solving, and I provide summaries and practice problems to reinforce learning. My goal is not only to help students succeed academically but to develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
What sets me apart is my background in biological sciences and experience in a healthcare office, which allows me to connect theoretical concepts to real-world applications. My lessons are perfect for middle school through college students, whether they're preparing for exams or looking to strengthen their understanding of biology.
