About Carla

Originally from abroad, I moved to the United States and had to learn a new language while adapting to a completely different education system. Because of this, I understand the challenges students face, not just academically, but personally as well, and I bring patience, empathy, and encouragement to every lesson. About the lesson

As a Biomedical Science graduate currently working in a pathology lab, I offer high school students expert tutoring in biology, chemistry, and math, backed by both academic knowledge and real-world scientific experience. My goal is to help students build genuine understanding and confidence, not just memorize facts for tests :)

I break down complex topics into clear, simple steps using relatable examples, visuals, and interactive methods. I adapt each lesson to suit your learning style, whether you're a visual learner, a hands-on problem solver, or somewhere in between. I believe learning should be engaging and logical.
