About Gemma
I'm a current Master's student studying Cancer and Therapeutics at Queen Mary University of London, seeking to support individuals who require a little extra guidance to reach their full potential. I graduated with my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science at St George's University of London. I have around 2 years of tutoring experience and love being able to help when I can. My specialities are Maths and Science, where I have tutored both subjects at the GCSE level.

With my 2/3 years of tutoring experience, I know how to adapt to a student's learning style and am familiar with teaching in either a one-on-one or group setting. Some students are more visual learners and some take a bit more time to understand a topic so the way I teach depends on each student/class. Typically I teach for an hour per subject but I am willing to be flexible on this up to 2 hours if required. I have tutored maths up to the GCSE level and Biology up to A-Level but I have also taught English and Maths at younger ages, for example, Year 8.
