I take a personalized, concept-driven approach to tutoring, focusing on helping students truly understand biology and related subjects rather than just memorize content. I break down complex topics into clear, manageable pieces and use real-world examples to make material more engaging and relevant. A typical lesson includes a brief review of prior material, interactive teaching of new concepts, and practice questions to reinforce understanding and build confidence. I also incorporate study strategies and problem-solving techniques tailored to each student’s learning style.
What sets me apart is my PhD-level training and hands-on research experience, which allows me to connect foundational concepts to real scientific applications. I emphasize critical thinking, scientific reasoning, and long-term retention, helping students not only improve their grades but also feel more confident approaching challenging material.
My lessons are designed for high school, undergraduate, and early graduate students in biology and related subjects, including genetics, molecular biology, and general life sciences. I also support students preparing for exams, working through difficult coursework, or looking to strengthen their overall understanding.
