About Tina
Hey there, I'm Tina! I'm currently a university student with a deep passion for sharing my language and culture with others. Growing up in China and moving to Melbourne during my formative years has given me a unique bilingual and bicultural perspective. Despite not having a formal certificate, I'm fluent in Chinese, proficient in both Mandarin and Cantonese, and have honed my English skills through years of living in an English-speaking environment. My VCE Chinese studies in high school further solidified my understanding of the language. I'm excited to teach because I believe language is more than just words—it's a gateway to understanding cultures and building connections.
