About Benjamin
To be honest, I sometimes struggle with the way textbooks explain coordinate geometry. I prefer teaching problem-solving strategies that rely on logic rather than rote memorization. Since I spent 13 years in the quant industry, I bring a focus on speed and accuracy to all my lessons.
We start with a free trial class to identify weak areas in your current mathematical knowledge. My 4 years of experience mean I understand the most common pitfalls in exam preparation. You will learn to use mental math techniques to solve problems faster than your peers.

Numbers have always been the primary language of my career. I spent 13 years working in high pressure fintech environments before focusing on part time tutoring. My 4 years of experience allows me to break down statistics and probability for intermediate learners. I hold a degree from the University of Melbourne which keeps my focus on rigid conceptual learning.
I have worked with many students to improve their performance in SAT and ACT math sections. My work often involves simplifying complex word problems into basic arithmetic steps. Vedic math techniques are a regular part of my toolkit for mental math speed. I find great satisfaction in watching a student solve a problem that once caused them stress.
