About Lauryn
I’m a meticulous and dedicated person with a friendly, approachable demeanour and a very caring empathetic personality. I was taught to sign by my deaf mother and other family members who learnt British Sign. I also attended a Primary School that has a deaf Centre where everyone learnt BSL from year 4 to 6. I love to teach people to confidently Sign and be able to communicate with deaf people who most of the time feel isolated as not many hearing people know how to communicate by Sign Language.

• I teach all levels of sign language and based on your level of experience will start with basic to intermediate to advanced level of British Sign Language. Starting with the Alphabet and greetings. To common questions, then moving on to conversational Sign. You’ll learn Context, Configuration and Closure. You’ll learn how to confidently and easily communicate and understand British Sign Language at a high level.
