About Maha
I am a dedicated and enthusiastic tutor based in London, specialising in Maths, English, Science, and German for students from Year 2 onwards. I have experience teaching students of diverse learning styles and abilities, and I adapt each lesson to suit the individual, using creative and engaging methods to make learning both enjoyable and effective.
As a friendly and approachable tutor, I focus on building confidence alongside academic skills, helping students feel motivated and supported in their learning journey. Whether it’s homework support, exam preparation, or learning a new language, my goal is to help every learner reach their full potential while enjoying the process.

My teaching approach is student-centred, flexible, and engaging. I believe every child learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to suit their individual needs, strengths, and learning style. For subjects like Maths and Science, I focus on building conceptual understanding rather than just memorisation, helping students develop problem-solving skills and confidence. In English and German, I combine structured practice with fun, practical exercises to improve reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension.
I also emphasise positive reinforcement and a supportive learning environment, encouraging students to ask questions, explore ideas, and take ownership of their learning. My goal is not only to help students achieve academic success but also to instil a love of learning that lasts beyond the classroom.
