About Sebastian
I am a Biomedical Engineering student at the University of Florida with a strong academic background in math and science. I graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA and earned a 5 on AP Calculus AB and AP Physics 1, along with a 4 on AP Chemistry and an A in university-level Chemistry II.
I have always enjoyed helping others understand challenging STEM concepts, especially by breaking down complex material into clear, logical steps. I believe that success in math and science comes from truly understanding the “why” behind a problem, not just memorizing formulas, and this philosophy guides how I work with students.

My tutoring approach emphasizes understanding the underlying concept first. From there, I work step by step with students through problems, guiding their thinking so we reach the solution together, and then use practice problems to reinforce comprehension. This has been the most effective strategy for my STEM courses.
